What Could Persistent Sinus Infection In Spite Of Being On Levofloxacin Mean?
I have a sinus infection and am taking Levofloxacin It does not seem to be getting better and now what is comming out of my nose is green and has a smell. Right now I work in an environment that is under construction and they are putting in a new kitchen where I work could this be agravatng the sisuitation
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain as you are taking levofloxacin for sinus infection I would suggest you to complete the entire course of it as complete course should be done of antibiotics for its complete action...
Other thing is that as you are being continously exposed to a dust containing environment it can cause further irritation of the nose and sinuses and can cause congestion. .
Nothing to worry continue the course of antibiotics and along with it take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen. . Do steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room.. Saline nasal sprays will further relieve..
In case even after completion of the entire course of antibiotics also the problem does not resolve consult an ENT expert and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps. .
