What Could Prolonged Swelling And Painful Knees After An Accident Indicate?

hello. basically i hada quad bike accident two years ago . i dont know if it has heeled right but it wint go down from swolen . its always swloen and never goesdown. when i walk for five minutes anywhere i get pain up to my knee and both hips . ive had physi o and the hospital say they cant find anything. could it of heeled in the wrong place?

Hello,

Most probably you might have injured ligament or tendon in the knee joint. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief. Immobilize the affected limb for few days. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan.
