What Could Severe Pain In Right Side Of Abdomen Diagnosed As Twisted Bowels?

hi, I was taken into hospital on Wednesday night with severe pains in my right side, the doctors ruled out appendicitis, they told me my bowel twisted and give me pain killers and sent me home, can you tell me what causes this, as I never want to feel pain like it again!! thank you donna

I really appreciate your concern, abdomen pain either it is left lower or right lower side it may have numbers of reason it may be due to infection of abdomen contained (Viscera) it may be due to stone condition, it may be nonspecific, if the condition is due to nonspecific reason then it can well responds to antispasmodic (Medicine must have been given to you) just to rule out the possibilities stated here I would suggest to get done the ultrasonography test hope this information helps.
