What Could Sharp Pain In Sole Of Foot With Dark Blue Painful Lump And Numb Leg Indicate?

Tonight, while vacuuming, i felt a sharp pain in the bottom of my foot. I hasn't stepped on anything, but upon looking, i noticed a dark blue lump the size of a dime on my foot sole. The lump is very painful and my leg feels like it is asleep. In three hours the lump had grown to nickel size.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your problem this could be induration may be due to formation of abscess, infection is likely, if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following medicine,
1) Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day
2) Tab Acetaminophen three times in day
take care keep an eye on abscess formation, if above treatment fails to response then you have to see the doctor for clinical examination, hope this information helps you, take care and have good day.
