What Could Shoulder Pain With Limited Movement Suggest?

I fell out of bed and hurt my left shoulder and my ring finger looks like an s and is swollen, but i can still move it. I can move my shoulder with help from my right arm but have limited movement on its own. Would anything be broken if i can move it or am i just sore?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, you will need radiological screening of your shoulder and hand, you may have some minor fracture and care need to be taken for that. the stiffness of your shoulder would be due to pain, moreover neurological examination of your shoulder is also must, because some time transient palsies of the roots in the spine can cause loss of active movement in the shoulder.
I hope I have been able to provide you with a satisfactory solution, if you want to clear any doubts about my opinion, feel free to contact.
Special note- Any medication prescribed needs to be taken after consultation with your personal doctor only.
Thanks
Dr. Narender Saini
