What Could Stabbing Pain In Legs And Back Indicate?

Two weeks ago I had a CT scan of my cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. The reason for the scan was an accident involving a deer hitting the front driver side. After a series of TPIs to rule out normal muscle tension didn t work the scan was preformed. Findings were mild annular disc bulges at L3-4 L4-5 L5-S1 with the worse being L4-5 this is also resulting in minimal thecal sac effacement and encroachment and abutment of the L4 nerve roots within the foramina of L4-5. I am a massage therapist and a physical therapy tech. My job alone has my back bending over and twisting. Any suggestions, could this poss lead to surgery? By the way there is shooting stabbing pains that go usually down back of leg/legs thru hamstring area. Recent calf Charlie horses and my potassium levels are good and almost constant pins and needles in feet. Thanks again. Jenn

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
This seems to be prolapsed l4-5 disc....i think you need to consult orthopedic surgeon who after certain clinical tests and after seeing your mri films ( not report) will decide to treat conservatively or operatively
