What Could Swollen Elbow With Frequent Chills Suggest?

What might cause a firm swelling on the inner aspect of the elbow that has been there for about 6 months. There has never been pain or injury ouldto it? Over the weekend I found a swelling just above my armpit (towards that elbow) that is about the size of an olive. There is no pain or tenderness. I have no idea how long it has been there. I found it when I crossed my arms because I was chilling. I have a problem with frequent chilling the last month.

Hi
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having infected of your elbow because you have much swelling, you are getting chills and a lymph node enlargement. Treatment of it is get its incision and drainage and send tissue for culture and sensitivity of pus. It can be send also for hostopathological examination (Biopsy) .
