What Could The Leg Swelling With The Sting Bite Fang Marks Be?

hello...my daughter was stung or bitten this morning while at school whil walking through knee high grass/weeds (we live in central florida) she felt the sting, went to the clinic and treated with calamine lotion. she now has what looks like fang marks and her entire leg from the knee down is swollen. The fang mark is red and one of the spots has a cream colored section under the skin....she didnt see what bit her...could it be anything that would warrant a us to take a trip to an urgent care facility? She was also vaccinated yesterday,4...don t think that is relevant...but? She is 12

Hi,

You should see a doctor as soon as possible to check your daughter, a sting by an insect does not cause all this swelling, it might be something else.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
