What Could The Pus-filled Pimple In Vagina That Led To Sharp Pain Indicate?

Hi I am a 17 year old girl and this morning I was taking a shower and while was showering I just ran my rag across my vagina and felt a sharp pain. I quickly grabbed my hand mirror to check. I looked and found that the lower left side of my labia close too the vaginal opening looked inflamed and red. It is very painful to the touch and while I was in school I could not sit comfortably. I took another shower later and felt the same area and found that the right side felt just as tender as the left side did. Taking the mirror again to check I saw that that the right side looked as if it was a pimple and full of pus and it seemed to have spread to the right side. I am scared because I am not sexually active and this has never happened to me before
