What Could The Shock Like Sensation And Pain From Arm To Chest Suggest?

Hi this is second experience of this type of attack. I get a cramping electrical sensation that starts in my right hand then travels up my arm through center of chest down through left arm. This sensation goes up the back of my neck and down thru my shoulder blades. I feel like my arms are going to be paralyzed. I feeling like I can t get my breath or talk. After this sensation subsides I have a pounding headache in my temples. With my first attack I went to er but after a 7 hour wait doctors could not find anything.

Thanks for your query.
Due to compression of nerve root in cervical spine there is cramping electrical sensation in your arm and pain associated with it.
I will advise you to MRI cervical spine for better diagnosis.

For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic like pregabalin and methylcobalamin medication can be started consulting your doctor.
Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief.
I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
