What Could Tightness And Soreness In Lower Leg Indicate?

I woke up this morning and went about my day. I squatted down at work to pick up something and noticed a tightness and soreness in my right lower leg. I pulled up my pant leg and there is a noticable difference in sixe between my two legs. It also feels very tight when touching. I m only 26 years old so surely it isn t a blood clot or something.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Tightness and soreness only in the lower leg can happen due to a muscle cramp, injury in the area or due to deep vein thrombosis if there is any associated swelling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
