What Could Total Sperm Count In Semen Analysis Suggest?

doctor i hv done my semen analysis and the report is : pH : 9.0 , Volume : 3 .0 ml , Colour : pearly white , Viscosity : Normal , Liquefaction time : 65 minutes , total sperm count : 107 million , NORMAL SPERMS : 60 % , ABNORMAL SPERMS : 40 % , PUS CELLS : 6 - 10 / hpf ,

Hello

Your report suggests semen infection.
Infection is indicated by presence of excess pus cells in semen.

Infection of semen may be due to prostatitis,UTI.

You need investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis and scrotum.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed depending upon culture and sensitivity report of semen.
You need antibiotics for infection.

Rest of the findings like sperm count and morphology are within normal limit.
Normally sperm count should be at least 20 millions /ml.
Normally at least 16 % sperms should have normal morphology.
Volume,pH and liquefaction time is also normal.
