What Could Vomiting With Cramps And Soreness Suggest?

Hi, yesterday I experienced vomiting, nausea, extreme cramps, and cold sweats accompanied by loss of color and extreme shivering. The vomit was black, with chunks of red. I found myself unable to hold down even small sips of water, and continued to dry heave after that. I woke up this morning with a soreness in my left side and a bruise I can t explain. Should I be worried, or is it just some bug?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The red vomiting is usually causing by stomach ulcer. It can be a medical emergency, so I recommend to go at the emergency room for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
