What Could White Pieces In Stools Be?

Hi I am 20 years old and I just used the bathroom and there were white pieces of something in my stool. This doesn t happen often but it s happened before, last time it looked like a whole bunch of pebbles mixed together, but I hear that s dehydration. But the white pieces are a little concerning. Could it be a parasite?

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

It might of been something you ate that did not digest properly.

Corn tends to be a problem with some people and may go through.

However, and I don't want this to bother you, it might be due to worms or the medication for hemorroids has mixed with the content of your bowel.

You can go to general surgeon for proctoscopy and colonoscopy for proper diagnosis with routine, blood and stool examination.

They even do a complete colonoscopy (of the entire colon. That can now be done by CT scan method, but it would be best to actually look inside the intestines to see what is taking place.

Hope it will be helpful to you.

Regards,
