What Diet Is Suggested For Cholesterol HDL-2 And LDL - 4.4?

I am 49 year old male slightly overweight but work in a very physical job. i have been told to change my diet as my cholesterol HDL is 2 and my LDL is 4.4. I have been told that this isn,t so bad. Can you advise.
i am 183 cm and weigh 90 kg. I am not aware of any family history of heart disease.

Exercise is a more important determinant of cardiac risk than mild/moderate changes in weight. Labs vary and I've never seen those particular values of HDL and LDL (different units different places). HDL is increased by exercise... and maybe prescription niacin.
