What Diet Plan Should Be Adopted For Weight Loss After Spinal Surgery?

My Dad is 65yrs old & has undergone spinal surgery & as he is overweight, at times he feel very tough to do his activities on his own. What is the diet-plan he should adopt to look at reducing weight so that he should be able to walk-around & do his activities on his own ?

It is important to know his weight and height.in general for weight loss give him small and frequent meals. Give more fiber in form of sprouts, salads, channa murmura. Fruits in morning no juices, no rice in evening. Avoid sweets. Have some physical activity. No fried foods.less fat in diet. Consult dietician in order to lose properly.
