For a child with fever, you can give the child simply normal diet or anything that the child can tolerate. The diet should contain more of proteins as our body is made of proteins and the healing and repair process requires resources. MEat, fish and eggs contain proteins. Spinach, pulses, soya etc. are vegetable sources of proteins. If she is vomiting, be sure to give ORS alongwith. It is better to leave out milk for a week or so but if she can tolerate it, there are no issues. Give sponging with normal temperature to bring down the temperature if it is greater than 100.
