Hello,

Intermittent upper backpain commonly occurs due to muscle overuse, stress and exhaustion, and poor posture. Always maintain correct posture while walking, sitting, sleeping, etc. Avoid stress and take rest, do not overexert yourself. Acetaminophen or NSAIDs like medicine can be taken for pain relief. Such symptoms can be caused by medical conditions like injury, internal trauma, osteoarthritis, herniated disk, spinal infection, etc.

Get clinically examined by an orthopedist, get X-ray, CT, MRI done to detect the pathology causing you symptoms. You will be accordingly treated. If obese, lose weight, do regular exercises. Take adequate sleep at night. Take balanced home-made food rich in cereals, berries, veggies and fruits.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
