What Do Dizziness And Rapid Eye Movement In A Child Suggest?

My 2yr old grandchild had an odd episode yesterday.. woke up from a nap and complained that the room was spinning and also had odd very rapid eye movement that lasted about a min. she was taken to the ER and they did not do a ct scan bu said they had never seen it before and thought it could be benign vertigo. I am still concerned. She seems more lethargic than usual right after a nap and first thing in the morning does this sound reasonable that the childrens hospital did not perform a CT scan

Hello,

I don't think that you should have done an MRI In ER. You can do an MRI now and probably an EEG should be done and a neurologist opinion is needed.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
