What Do Headaches And Convergence Insufficiency After Mono Indicate?

so i went to the opthomologist and she said i had a convergence insufficiency, i had mono 3 weeks ago and she said it was due to that. I have headaches from the insufficiency that don t go much above my eyebrows, but i am just nervous that is something more serious. Are my headaches and convergence a sign of something serious, or is it just post mono symptoms.

Neurologist, Surgical 's  Response
Hello,

I agree with the Ophthalmologist's opinion, that these are possible symptoms after mononucleosis infection.

There should be an improvement after successful treatment.

If symptoms persist for weeks or get worse, a brain MRI may be necessary to understand correctly your condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
