What Do Leukocyte Count, Granulocyte Count, Basophil Count And Monocytes Count Denote?
im male of 35years old....my differential leucocyte cout is
Neutrophils 41%, lymphocytes 49%, Monocyte 5%, Eosinophils 5%, Basophils 0, Immature Granulocyte count 0
and my absolute leucocyte cout is neutrophil 3.2thou/cumm, Lymphocyte 3.8thou/cumm, Monocytes 0.3thou/cumm, Eosinophils 0.4thou/cumm, Basophils 0.1thou/cumm
Immature granulocyte count 0. so pliz tell me that there is any abnormalities in my health

Hi there, I would like to know your total wbc count, haemoglobin and platelet counts. From the differential you have an increase in lymphocytes. Usually they form 20% of the wbc and in your case this is 49% which is high. This happens in patients with chronic infections like tuberculosis, typhoid. I would really appreciate if you could tell us your symptoms, and other complaints to give a full picture of whats wrong with you. Also we need to perform more tests to know the exact cause.
