What Do My Scan Results Indicate?

i m conceive now. around six weeks went out. i took scan last week. there they told like my gs size is 1.8cm but fetal pole not present. is this normal? they ask me to take scan after two weeks. when heart beat will start for baby? can u please reply me for this.

Hello

Fetal pole should have been visualized by this time.You are rightly advised for follow up USG after 2 weeks.
Fetal heart beat can be seen as early as 5 weeks 1 days of pregnancy.It can be earliest seen by trans vaginal sonography(TVS).

So,you should wait till next ultrasound scan.
If fetal pole is still not visualized in next scan then it can be considered as missed abortion.
