What Do Pain And Cold Sensation On The Finger Tips Indicate?

once the ambient room temperature or outdoors temperatures drops below sixty five degrees, my finger tips and toes feel very cold to the touch and are somewhat painful. I am a 68 year old male, excellent health, taking Zetia for cholesterol reduction. I often exercise for more than four hours daily playing competitive pickle ball, swimming laps, and long dog walking. Family history of type 2 diabetes and heart disease, though I have been tested and no indication as of yet.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Maybe it's a case of Renaud's phenomenon. May I suggest you repeat lipid profile, FBS, PPBS and revert back after. Avoid exposure to cold.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. BarunBijoy Bhattacharjee
