Hello, Do you have any conditions such as snoring, mouth breathing, sleep apnea, acid reflux, inhaler use or sinus condition that produces a chronic irritation to your throat? Seasonal changes with allergies or climate control system effects are other common stress culprits. Hobbies or habits can contribute as well. Do you play a musical instrument? Any change in diet? Try to avoid all irritants such as alcohol, smoking, acidic and spicy foods. Keep well hydrated and make sure that you do not have any vitamin deficiencies. Do you have a workplace environment that exposes you to others with infections? Try to evaluate some factors that you may be able to control. Do you have any chemical exposure, at work or at home with cleaners? A visit to your doctor can determine if any bacterial condition requiring a prescription is necessary. Viral conditions can be present and often reoccur with stress. Medication can lessen viral discomfort. Thank you for your inquiry.
