What Do Pus Cells And Epithelial Cells On Urine Examination Suggest?

hi doctor, I m 28 years old female. Yesterday i got my result in urine examination. Color: straw. albumin: trace, puss cells 8-10 and epithelial cell : plenty. I m kinda worried about the epithelial cells and pus cell. what does it indicate..thanks a lot

There are more pus cells than usual, suggestive of infection or colonization of urinary tract. I suggest you give urine for cultures and sensitivity and if there is growth, we can treat the same.
Epithelial cells usually are not pathological.
