What Do Swelling And Pain In The Calves Indicate?
Hi my calves started swelling about a week ago, they are now about twice their normal size. They also turned very red with accompanying pain. This started on my left leg and now both are fully involved. I had seen my doctor when it first appeared, and he said there was no sign of infection

Swelling, pain, and redness of calves are concerning for infection like cellulitis. Also, deep vein thrombosis, where blood clot occurs in deep veins of legs is a possibility.
