hi my husband came home from work on Tuesday night.. he was sweating, dizzy, sick, ...it scared me, I took him to the ER...he is 54 yrs old. has a history of high blood pressure, but b/p was low.. he has been on Pravastin for about 3 months...the ER drs diagnosed his as renal insufficiency..they changd his b/p meds .. I have received his last labs that I don t understand... WBC is 14.6 Neutrophils is 82 NEUT# 12.0.. He does not want to go to Dr due to the fact that we don t have insurance...with this info, how important is it for him to go... we will have insurance in 3 weeks..can he wait????

Hi, From the lab tests, it looks like neutrophilia with raised WBC count. It is indicating a possible infection. If possible get an urine examination done for RBC and pus cells. If negative and there is no fever, nothing to worry at present. Low blood pressure can lead to dizziness and activation of neural system can lead to sweating.
