What Do The Presence Of Polyps Do During And After Menstruation?
Hi,
I'm a 54 year old lady and after finally finishing my periods last December I have started to bleed on and off for the past 3 months. Yesterday my gynecologist examined me and detected 2 polyps which are apparently causing the bleeding which weren't there in January's revision. He recommends a D & C with biopsy. However he is now to go on holiday and can't arrange anything till end of September. Do you think that it's more of a risk leaving it until then and should I try to get it checked our sooner via another specialist. I'd appreciate your opinion.
