What Do The White Flaky Elements In Urine After Getting Treated For UTI Signify?
I am young, a 19 year old female who s sexually active. My boyfriend positively isn t involved with anyone else. I ve never had a UTI before but recently got one about 2 weeks ago. I saw a doctor for it, but he prescribed me birth control instead. Well I drank a bunch of water to get rid of the bacteria in my system and in a couple of days, I didn t have the burning sensation when I peed. However, lately, there s been sort of dandruffy looking things (I m not sure how to describe them) in my urine recently and I m not sure what it could be.
This elements and your symptoms indicate an infection of your bladder. It can not be left alone as untreated infection can lead to kidneys problem. Drinking lots of mineral water is a good idea but it can be not enough. I suggest you to have urine analysis, urine culture test and antibiotics prescribed.
To avoid intercourse related infection, please try to pee right after an intercourse.
Hope this will help. Regards.
