Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my 78 y/o husband has a slight head tremor- it moves from side to side. These are the drugs he is on eliquis, norvask, protonex crestor, albuteral, advair inhaler, flonase laxis, potassium. I noticed it within the last 2 weeks. He was a slight case of shingles from may thru July 1st. Care to give an educated guess on what s happening? Thanks- Patty
Hello, There are many causes of tremors. His albuterol can cause a slight tremor but it is usually for only a brief period after a use of the inhaler. Other possibilities are an essential tremor and Parkinson's disease. The best thing to do is have him see a neurologist to make sure that it is not Parkinson's disease Regards
