What Do You Suggest For Acid Reflux With IBS?

Hello, I have been having stomach pain off and on since October2013 I have acid reflux as well and IBS. Should I have a Doctor look with a scope again? I had a scope done last February. Everything was normal. The Gastro Dr says I have symptoms of an ulcer but she does not see any.what should I do?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. For aciud reflux and ulcers i treat my patients with proton pump inhibitors like rabeperazole and antiemetic domperidone for 1 month or longer. For IBS you might need to do a colonoscopy to rule out what type it is and identify if there is any complication. Most of my patients are effectively controlled with mesalzine. Corticosteroids are needed for some and some even methotrexate.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
