What Does 57% Sperm Motility In Semen Report Suggest?

Hi,
I have done my semen ana lysis today.the report is as below
Quantity-1.5ml,colour-grayish white,Consistency-Normal,Reaction-alkaline,
motility-57%,non-motile-43%,sluggishly motile-17%,Actively motile-20%,rapidly motile-20%,morphology(normal-68%,abnormal-32%),enumeration-350.0 million/ml,pus cells-6-8,RBCs-12,round cells-2-3.please let me know wheather i can able to be a father or not.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us

Your semen analysis report suggests infection. Motility of sperms,sperm count and morphology of sperms are normal.Normally at least 55 % sperms should be motile.
Infection is indicated by the presence of excessive pus cells and RBC in semen. Normally there shouldn't be any pus cells in semen.
Infection may be due to prostatitis,UTI.
You need antibiotics for infection.
You need few more investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,Ultrasound of pelvis should be done.Trans rectal sonography of prostate can be done if needed.
Proper antibiotics should be prescribed depending upon culture and sensitivity report of semen.
