Hi,I am Diwashish Biswas (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been prescribed Baclofen 10mg, one tab/tid. I ve had back surger/4 titanium cages, and both hips replaced. I take traMADol 50mg, one tab/q 6 h. Just trying to find out what, specifically, is in Baclofen. Don t want any narcotics and can t seem to find chemical ingredients for Baclofen online. Thanks for your time!
Baclofen is not a narcotic. It is a medicine used for muscle spasticity. It is often used in people who have chronic muscle spasticity from paralysis or severe spinal probems. Baclofen IS the name of the chemical ingredient/generic name. It is a derivative of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA). But it is not a narcotic so no need to worry.
