What Does HIV I & II Antibodies:Non Reactive (0.06) Suggest?
I got HIV I & II ANTIBODIES (ECLIA) test on mid of 7th week after possible exposure to HIV virus (Oral sex). The results came in as "HIV I&II Antibodies: Non Reactive (0.06)". Does this means I do not have HIV. Will my results come positive when I re-test it after 12 weeks. Please advise
Explanation, 1. I seen your query and you mentioned that you already done ELISA test at the mid 7th week of possible risk exposure 2.The result came to be negative or non-reactive for hiv 1 and hiv 2. This means you are not having hiv in blood 3. Further test is need not required. Even if have doubt then you can go for ELISA test after 4 weeks or WERSTERN BLOT test after minimum 6 weeks of possible risk exposure
Hope this information helps
