What Does TSh Test Level Which Is 5 Suggest?

hi doctor, i am 26yrs old.. and im pregnant by 18 weeks.. i just did my tsh level test..which is 5.00.. please suggest me is it risky during prgnancy.. please guide me appropriate medication..will it affect my baby during pregnancy or after pregnancy..

Hello,
Good day.
It is better to keep TSH your TSH below 2.5 during first three months of pregnancy and below 3 during last 6 months. You may start with 25 mcg Thyronorm and repeat TSH after 4 weeks.
After delivery, you may stop and recheck TSH and Free T4 after 6 week.
