What Does A Bulge On The Colon Wall Indicate?

Hi, I recently had my first colonsocopy, at age 54. There were no internal problems with the colon, but the doctor said there is a bulge inward on the colon wall, from outside. What could that be? I am male, white, 6 tall, 160 lbs, and don t smoke or drink much. Physically very active as a rancher. I feel fine. I take no medications. They want to do a CT scan now to look at the area, which is okay but I don t want to get too far ahead of things. So who has an idea of what could cause the bulge? Thank you

Hello

thank you for trusting HCM

dear sorry to hear about your problem. But nothing to worry, bulge may be due to some thing is pressing from out side that we have to confirm by CT abdomen. possibly mass may be arising from wall of colon can gives rise to inward bulging. some times lymphnodes may enlarged in tb abdomen and lymphoma can cause mass effects.please get CT abdomen done and post your report here.

take care
