What Does A Hard Lump In The Anus Indicate?

Hi, I just noticed that I have a hard lump 1/2 inch size in my anus, it is hard and white color, it attached to a right side right to the open anus, so when I use a mirror to look at it, it is like a small white bump block in the middle if my anus as I cannot push it inside, the shape of of it looks like a pin ( when you play bowling) it doesn t hurt or bother me anything, until today it feels irritate a bit because I tried to scratch it or squeeze it last night, I am 47 , female ( Asian) I never had any anus sex, I never had any problem with not going to the bathroom, I use the bathroom at least 2-3 times a day. By the way, I like eating spicy food too, what is this lump? Should I freeze it off ( like ward treatment ), please help me, I am worried now. Thank you.

Without a picture I think it is very hard to say what it is that you are seeing. Some of the potential things that it could be are:
- A skin tag (simple skin growth, don't need to do anything about it)
- A hemorrhoid (dilated vein)
- A pilonidal cyst (fluid collection under the skin)
- Perianal abscess (infected fluid collection, but unlikely since it doesn't hurt)
- Anal warts (usually caused by HPV)
- Cancer (which you should be able to tell by looking at it, or by biopsy)

You could try google-searching the things on this list to see if it resembles any of them, but you are probably better off having a doctor look at it for you.
