What Does A Lump Above The Rib Indicate?
hi doctor, i 29 male, for the past 2-3 years i have noticed a pea side lump just above the last rib directly below my left nipple, the lump has been there for a few years however it grows up like a mosquito bite when i m tired or dehydrated ( no pain or itchiness) just wondering what this could be , it is dangerous ? thanks for your help JL

Most probably you have benign lesion and lump may be due to many reasons.
You need proper clinical examination.
Lump may be due to lipoma,neurofibroma etc.
If necessary,investigation can be done to know about its nature.
You should be cautious about pain and rapid increase in size.If it happens you should contact your doctor immediately.
