What Does A Painful Black Spot On The Vagina Indicate?

I discovered a small black spot on my vagina. I touched it and it stuck to my finger causing sharp pain I had a very difficult job to remove it. It started to draw blood and would not let go of my finger!!! I used needle nose tweezers and it finally came off. It bled, left a concave hole in my skin....I have soaked my finger in alcohol. It remains very sore but stopped bleeding. The material I removed contained tiny black very small dots, bloody mucous, somethings that looked like tiny worms....help! I am 74 years of age

Hello,

Thanks for your query on HCM

"As"per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1)Use OTC cream [clindamycin]on the spot to prevent infection and do a clinical examination to confirm it as a small hematoma and if any antibiotic requires ask your doctor to prescribe for it.

2)If yeast infection present then talk about [Fluconazole]orally and Clotrimazole tab vaginally.

3)If vaginal dryness present then talk about [Estrogen cream]

Try modify your lifestyle like this -

1)Try to avoid baths, hot tubs and whirlpool spas. Rinse soap from your outer genital area after a shower, and dry the area well to prevent irritation.
Don't use scented or harsh soaps, such as those with deodorant or antibacterial action.

2)Try to avoid irritants. These include scented tampons and pads.

3)Try to wipe from front to back after using the toilet. Doing so avoids spreading fecal bacteria to your vagina.

4)Don't douche. Your vagina doesn't require cleansing other than normal bathing. Repetitive douching disrupts the normal organisms that reside in the vagina and can actually increase your risk of vaginal infection.

5)Try to wear cotton underwear. Also, wear pantyhose with a cotton crotch. If you feel comfortable without it, skip wearing underwear to bed.

Hope that helps
