hi its me ayesha my age is 23 there was stomatch pain to me when i go for check up my vdrl report comes positive and i dont have sexual intercourse with other accept my husband now he says he dont have this diseases how i get please say how it becames positive if there is no vdrl positive of my husband

if your husband is vdrl negative and you don't have any other present for past sexual contact besides your husband ...then be assured...you are not suffering from SYPHILIS ...as there are many conditions which have vdrl positive titre also ...these are called false positive vdrl cases ...even malaria ..infectious mononucleosis or even intramuscular injection may cause this vdrl positive ....otherwise SYPHILIS is not confirmed by vdrl alone ...it is confirmed by other tests ...see your doctor he may tell what is other possibility ..as you have not told us complete history...but rest assured you are not SYPHILITIC
