What Does A Sore, Bruise Like Spot On Stomach Suggest?

I have a sore spot on my stomach on the left side that feels like a bruise. I ve had it for almost a month now. I went to my general practioner for a different reason, but did mention it. She felt around and said it wasn t my appendix. What could it be? There is no bruise and I m already on a pill for GERD. Thanks.

I really appreciate your concern, on clinical examination if this is not the appendicitis, so it could be nonspecific, if this is the complain since one moth then it needs to be investigated and ultrasonography is must some time may needs MRI study, abdomen pain always demands the investigation hope this information helps.
