I had a uranalysis done just got results from Nove 5 2013. Was ordered by my therapist, don t have a Docs appointment til jan. 22 2014. Appearance Hazy, Urine PH 6.0, RBC 1, WBC Rare , squamous epitheial 24, mucous present. What does it mean? Have had odd cramping for awhil;e now, just thought it was one of those things...
Hi,
The reason for haziness in urine is the mucus. If you are a female that could be normal cervical mucus. I am curious to know the rest of the report which would include urine protein, sugars etc. Proteins can also cause haziness. As mentioned in the report since pus cells are sparse an infection is unlikely. THe epithelial cells can be a contaminant which is often a case with voided samples. Also if you are a female higher estrogen levels can also cause the increase in epithelial cells. Considering your symptoms of cramps knowing the duration of these cramps would be helpful. you could go for a urine culture and sensitivity test which could ascertain an infection if present. Please let me know the reports.
