What Does Asthenospermia In Semen Report Suggest?

Mild Asthenospermia (Semen)
High Viscid semen (like gel)
-     It is understood that the sperms do not move at all & that is the reason why active forward of sperm is zero.
-     In addition, the high viscosity prevents the sperm to move (e.g. sperm move faster in water than in honey).
-     Results Liquifaction time high (> 2 hrs.)
-     Prostates are bigger size: L-5 cm., W-3 cm.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having immotile sperms. Astheno means sluggish. Asthenospermia means sluggish motility of sperm.this may be the cause of infertility for which you are doing semen examination. There are many causes of male infertility. Most common is azoospermia mean there are no sperms in semen. Other is Asthenospermia. In which sperms are present in semen but they are sluggishly motile. In motility forward motility is more important.
