General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Thank you for contacting us on HCM!

Your tests are suggestive of a condition known as chronic pancreatitis. It is known to be common among people who consume a fair quantity of alcohol, which looks likely to be the case with you as well.

Atrophy means that your pancreas has undergone some amount of degeneration and the cells in your pancreas may have undergone reduction in their numbers. The multifocal (multiple areas of ) calcification are common with an inflammation of the pancreas.

It is advisable that you visit your health care provider and follow up on their advice to avoid further complications.
