dear sir,
My Wife Last monthly period is 18.08.2012. We expect to next monthly period on 19.09.2012. But her period is missed .Home pregnancy test positive. So we went to hospital for home pregnancy test & it shows possitive result ( 2 Red Lines ).Beta HCG test done this result is 1302 mIU/mL. what is the mean

Beta HCG test is a blood test to diagnose pregnancy and usually becomes positive around the time of the first missed period.
The quantitative beta human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) blood test measures the level of hCG hormone present in a blood sample. HCG is a hormone that is produced during pregnancy and it is secreted form the placenta.
The fetus is usually visible on a Trans-Vaginal Ultrasound scan when the level is above 1500 units.
