What Does Bleeding During A Bowel Movement Indicate?
My 80 yr old Mom discovered Bright red blood in her toilet last night after having a bowel movement... Quite a bit..but she hadn t one in a few days. She wasn t really concerned. She had smother bowel movement a couple of hours ago. There was some blood in her stool, not much. Se had a checkup last week and everything was good..b

1. Fissures or hemorrhoids
2. Fistulas
3. Rectal polyps
4. Rectal malignancy
5. Bacillary dysentery/amoebic dysentery et cetera
Please get stool examination and colonoscopy done, and get treated accordingly.
