What Does Blood Hemorrhage In Placenta Mean?

I AM A 23 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF 2. I AM 7 WEEKS PREGNANT AND WHEN I HAD AN ULTRASOUND DONE IT SHOWED WHAT SEEMED TO BE A BRIDGE IN THE AMNIOTIC SAC. UPON FURTHER (TRANSVAGINAL) ULTRASOUND IT SHOWED TO BE A CYST UNDER THE SAC ITSELF BY PERSONNEL AT THE HOSPITAL. ONCE MY DOCTOR CALLED ME HE STATED THAT THE RADIOLOGIST DID NOT KNOW FOR SURE WHAT THE MASS WAS AND IT COULD POSSIBLY BE A TRICKLE OF BLOOD HEMMORAGING FROM THE PLACENTA LEADING TO A MISCARRIAGE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO THINK. ANSWERS PLEASE?

dear friend , there is nothing to worry a lot as this bleed is quiet common in pregnancy. Spotting or bleeding may be a sign but many subchorionic bleeds are detected during a routine ultrasound as is your case.
While most subchorionic hematomas dissolve on their own, it is possible for the clot to get in between the placenta and the uterine wall, resulting in miscarriage.More than half of women who bleed during their early pregnancy go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies. caution to be taken are rest, refrain from lifting heavy objects, and avoid exercise & sexual intercourse until the hematoma dissolves and disappears. report in case of further query.
