What Does Blood In Urine Indicate While Having Severe Foot And Leg Pain?
Hi, I just got a call from my Dr. saying that recent blood work/urine shows a high red blood count. I did not get the number from her. I suffer from severe foot and leg pain. 10 months of plantar faciitis in both feet and I have had vein stripping (which did not end well) and then both legs had VNUS. I still struggle with severe pain in the right leg, swelling of the veins on the inside of my ankle, to the point of not being able to get up on my feet at times. I also have a lot of pain in my groin area of my right side. Could the elevated red blood count be causing this pain in the legs?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Blood in urine indicates trauma to urinary passage, vaginal bleeding in females or infection or inflammation of kidney. Kidney infection cause swelling on feet(edema) and pain may arise with severe swelling.
You need to consult both kidney and vascular specialist to be consulted.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
