What Does Burning Sensation During Urination Indicate?

For a few months I ve had an off and on problem where it burns when I urinate. I started drinking a lot of water, and eventually the problem would go away. At times it would smell bad as well. It doesn t burn anymore when I drink a lot of water and then urinate, but naturally after drinking a lot I use the restroom a lot with no discomfort. But I have to go a lot after I do. However, I do have burning when I don t drink water and when I begin to hold my urine it burns. Even afterward, it continues to burn for a while. What do I have?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have burning sensation in urine. It can be due to some urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity test. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be helpful. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
