What Does Burning Sensation In The Thighs Indicate?

My husband is 71 years old, he works as maintenance at WalMart - he came home 2 days ago and complained about feeling a burning sensation on his upper thigh area - I looked at it and nothing is red or appears to be anything on the skin - he said it feels like something acidic is on his skin, only at that position on his body. Did not spill anything on it, did not put any creams or lotions on it, etc. No visible reason for it. (DOES THIS SERVICE COST ME ANYTHING?)

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
I have gone through the description and it appears that your husband could be having contact dermatitis due to allergic origin.
Kindly give antihistaminic medication like Levocetirizine once a day at bedtime. If the symptoms subside by 3 days, he can continue the medication for 2 more days and stop.
If there is no improvement by 3 days, you need to seek Dermatologist for clinical review and appropriate management.
Hope the information provided helps.
Best wishes.
Regards,
